How to Reverse Receding Gums Naturally At Home


1. Green Tea

You may have heard thousands of times about the benefits of green tea and why not, as it is a treasure of antioxidants and other needed components. 

2. Aloe-vera

Aloe vera has many medicinal qualities with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that kill bacteria and keep the gums strong and healthy. It is quite cheap and easily available.  

The regular usage of aloe vera helps in cell repair and cures gums receding. 

How to use

Extract some fresh aloe vera gel, and at night, after brushing, apply some aloe vera gel to your gums and teeth using your brush, or also, you can use your fingers and massage for a while gently. 

The other way is, mix some aloe vera gel with some water and use it as a mouth wash and swirl in the mouth.  

3. Coconut Oil Reverse Receding Gums

Oil pulling is also a famous and traditional way to reduce gum cavity and improve oral health. You can use coconut oil for performing the oil pulling process. 

Coconut oil works as plaque remover and removes toxins, and treats gum receding. Coconut oil (organic recommended) is also anti-bacterial, including healing properties that strengthen the gums and remove bacteria. 

How to use

Take coconut oil and warm it a little (don’t warm much), and at night, after brushing, pour some oil in your mouth and swirl around well and keep it for 1 minute. 

In starting, you may feel awkward, but as you do regularly, increase the time and keep in the mouth for 10 to 15 minutes.  

4. Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus is an herbal essential oil with a strong effect, and a few drops of eucalyptus oil can help you with tooth decay, dental cavity, and receding gums, and it kills all the bacteria in the mouth as well. 

How to use

Mix 2 drops of eucalyptus oil with 2 tbsp. Of water and mix it well. 

Now gently massage it to your gums and teeth for a few minutes by using your fingers or a toothbrush and wash with normal water.

Repeat the process once a day.  

5. Myrrh

Myrrh Powder for teeth

Myrrh is an herb extracted from the myrrh tree and traditionally used to treat gum cavity, improve tooth’s health, and make them strong. 

You can found this in powder form, and if the powder is not available, then take resin and grind it well to make powder.
